This body of work marks the beginning of my time in Mexico City. The flower tile series was the first I created after moving into my new home, using recycled paper sourced from a local vendor. These pieces helped me root myself in a new environment. As I transitioned into my studio, my focus shifted toward a second series—one that explores bold shapes and abstract symbols. Together, the works chart a personal and creative settling-in process, moving from nature-inspired motifs to a more distilled, graphic language.
